This week Murph sat down with veteran A&R, publisher, and manager, Jaha Johnson. Jaha currently helps run Hitco Entertainment in Los Angeles but has also managed Usher and Common throughout the years. Additionally, in his first-ever podcast interview, Jaha spoke about being from Brooklyn, going to college in Atlanta, then heading back to NYC to work for Kevin Liles and Lyor Cohen at Def Jam. Murph and Jaha also covered what it means to be a good A&R and how today’s artists should be looking to build their careers.
